I am asking the hard question here. How do we want to cover this?

I mean, typically in a project the best way to get things done is to lay out what needs to be done, set up some deadlines for when things should be finished, and then meet those deadlines as appropriate. That is timely and practical.

... however, we have a group of the most procrastinating deadline-hating individuals I've ever seen.

Right now, things aren't really getting done very fast. I'm not condemning it or anything - I mean, not everyone has gotten on, and it's hard too because it's nearing the end of a semester for us college kids and we've got finals and so on. That naturally puts a bit of a damper on things.

So consider this as a question for the future, once we're all on winter break and done with Christmas and such things: what do you guy think? Should we have deadlines? Tentative deadlines? Keep it free form and continue making Jisu get everyone's asses in gear? .... (yeah I don't think that's very fair)

Post your opinions here!

First off I laughed so hard at the description of us as "most procrastinating deadline-hating individuals I've ever seen" mostly because it's so sadly true! XDDDD

Also, I don't mind walking around the house whenever the guys are over with a cattle prod in my hands. What do you guys think? You like getting pitchforks up the ass? No? Awww come on. It's fun! For me! Anyway, I don't mind kinda ridding the guys a bit. Mostly it's on me right now anyway to get the script worked out. (Er, once we have a solid plot that is. XP)

Also, you bring up what I've been thinking that maybe we should wait till after this semester if we do want to set any deadlines (which I'm regrettably finding myself leaning towards). I'm gonna be swamped. Eng 201 teach just assigned a fraking 8 page research paper that's due on the finals day so, yeah...I'll be a bit busy. (In fact I SHOULD be working on that now but whatever. XD

But afterward, I do need someone/thing kicking me in the ass every now and then to keep me going and I know Andy's the same. Can't speak for everyone for sure but like you said, our records don't speak too well for us all. XD Sorry guys. The truth sometimes hurts. (While making you laugh at the same time.)

So in summary cause that was a long confusing post: I'd like some form of deadlines but not till after finals.

(That is pretty much exactly how I feel, basically. Deadlines keep people on the ball and they keep things moving forward, but I don't want people to be like: waaaaah this isn't fun anymore because it feels like work.

Mainly being why I asked.

Okay! More opinions? :DDDD )

Yeah but are your finals a 10 page research paper that's worth a quarter of your grade? (I hate my Eng class. XP)

I love my classes with the finals simply being a test. *preen* also I have no problem with tentative dates put up during winter break, however, with the g-pa and g-ma at the house, as well as a few relatives coming over in a few weeks, it'll be hard to focus. XP

But other than that I'm good. I just need ta ride someone's ass about gettin' Heero fixed right as rain. :<
