All good LP's have something new or interesting that they impart onto their viewer's lives. Sometimes it's some aspect of the game you've never considered before - a side-quest or plot point you've never seen. Sometimes it's a revelation about one's self, received through some thought-provoking point in the commentary (admittedly, this is very rare).

And sometimes, you get more of a song you've heard about five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred times blasted at you completely randomly in a item collection montage.
